Things have been a bit quiet around here lately. One reason for this is that we’re currently working flat out on our application for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia’s top-tier funding scheme.
That takes time, concentration and plenty of coffee.
But don’t worry: we haven’t disappeared. On the contrary. Behind the scenes, we’re thinking, writing, discussing, laughing and dreaming. New ideas are emerging, and preparations for our new production
FUCHSTEUFELSWILD – Ein Singspiel that will take shape after the summer – are already slowly getting underway.
We’re already very excited about what lies ahead and look forward to telling you more about it soon.
And who knows – perhaps we’ll bump into each other in completely different contexts before then.
We’d certainly be delighted if we did.

About us
HARTMANNMUELLER is the name of the two choreographers and performers Simon HARTMANN and Daniel Ernesto MUELLER. They met in 2006 while studying to become stage dancers at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and then went on to found the artist collective HARTMANNMUELLER in 2011. In 2015, they received the City of Düsseldorf’s Performing Arts Award. Since 2021 they will also receive top funding from the state of NRW.
