Simon Hartmann (1984) and Daniel Ernesto Mueller (1980) founded the performance duo HARTMANNMUELLER in 2011. Together with a long-standing artistic team, they create works in collaboration with renowned institutions such as tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf and Ringlokschuppen Ruhr. Their productions are presented nationally and internationally, and since 2021 they have been supported by the Excellence Funding Programme of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Steven Sander:
Productionmanagement
Steven Sander works as a production manager in the performing arts and is also part of the team behind the asphalt Festival. Since 2025, he has been responsible for production management for HARTMANNMUELLER.
Immanuel Bartz:
Dramaturgy
Immanuel Bartz is a dramaturg and producer who has collaborated with artists and companies including Ma’louba, kainkollektiv, and Nassim Soleimanpour Productions. Since 2025, he has been working with HARTMANNMUELLER as dramaturg.
Katrin Lehmacher:
Stage/Costume
Katrin Lehmacher is a set and costume designer working internationally across theatre and dance productions. She has been a close artistic collaborator of HARTMANNMUELLER for many years.
Fabian Schultz:
Music/Composition/Video
Fabian Schulz is a composer and sound designer for theatre, dance, and audiovisual productions. He has collaborated with HARTMANNMUELLER for many years, most recently on FUN PARK it (still) is what it is and Wütet!.
Juliane Dahlhoff:
Press and public relations
Juliane Dahlhoff is a communications consultant specializing in arts and culture, with more than 25 years of experience in media and public relations. She oversees press and communications for HARTMANNMUELLER.
Julius Kindermann:
Technical Director
Julius Kindermann is a freelance event technician working with theatre productions and festivals in the independent performing arts sector. Since 2025, he has served as technical director for HARTMANNMUELLER productions.
Dennis Yenmez:
Photography
Dennis Yenmez is a photographer specializing in documentary photography and a graduate of the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Through a long-standing artistic collaboration, he has shaped the visual identity of HARTMANNMUELLER, developing photographic and video concepts that document and aesthetically enhance the duo’s work.
Christian Boesser:
Web design/Layout
Christian Boesser is a graphic designer and creative director and the founder of Studio Morgen in Düsseldorf. He has been responsible for the visual identity and distinctive poster campaigns of HARTMANNMUELLER for many years.
