The evening in Soest at the juengerGIPFEL organised by the Church of Westphalia, featuring
DEEP TALK – The Youth of HARTMANNMUELLER
was something truly special for us – inspiring, intense and, at the same time, incredibly enriching.
Looking back on our own youth once again in this special setting, bringing memories to life, laughing together, but also becoming pensive, had a depth all of its own.
That evening has now been turned into a podcast episode – do have a listen!
Further episodes are already in the pipeline.
Next, we’ll be focusing on preparations for our major production in the second half of the year. In the meantime, however, we’ll be in touch from time to time to invite you to special evenings at
the Düsseldorf Theatre Museum.

About us
HARTMANNMUELLER is the name of the two choreographers and performers Simon HARTMANN and Daniel Ernesto MUELLER. They met in 2006 while studying to become stage dancers at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and then went on to found the artist collective HARTMANNMUELLER in 2011. In 2015, they received the City of Düsseldorf’s Performing Arts Award. Since 2021 they will also receive top funding from the state of NRW.
