In the performance Let*s Dance, four dancers are positioned on a raised blue platform, surrounded by a melodic atmosphere of classical music and 90s techno. The situation is not clearly recognizable. Are they anticipating a party or are they merely lingering in the mood of a night gone by? And could this blue platform not symbolize our blue planet? It remains uncertain. The fact is, the dancers carefree inhabit their illuminated “home”. Their bodies merge with the pulsating beats of techno while they let themselves be driven by the powerful music. The central theme is love – love between people and love of nature with all its communication possibilities. The events are always accompanied by chaos and the supposed attempt to create order. At the end of the performance, what remains is a feeling of euphoria, inspired self-liberation and tenderness. The pulsating sounds of 90s techno reverberate and make the audience realize that limitations and freedom can create a transformative experience.
